For the purpose of updating the following list of accredited chiropractic qualifications, the Chiropractors Council of Hong Kong invited the four accrediting councils, namely the Council on Chiropractic Education, the Federation of Canadian Chiropractic, the Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia, and the European Council on Chiropractic Education (“ECCE”), to provide updates on accredited chiropractic qualifications in October 2025.
In respect of the Master of Chiropractic programme, McTimoney College of Chiropractic being delivered in Hong Kong (commenced in 2023), the ECCE has advised the Council that the programme underwent an evaluation by the ECCE in September 2025, resulting in the conferral of “Conditional Accredited Status”. Under the ECCE’s governing policy, this designation requires the programme to undergo a final evaluation visit upon the graduation of the first cohort, at which time a definitive determination regarding full accreditation will be made.
The list below sets out current qualifications which may be accepted by the Chiropractors Council generally for the purposes of section 9(1)(a) of the Chiropractors Registration Ordinance. Enquiry should be made to the Chiropractors Council in respect of qualifications which are no longer conferred.
